摘要:In the second half of the 19th century the country was rich on the back of the greasy wool from sheep and the massive herds of cattle. The shearer is perhaps the most colourful of all bush workers. The great number of songs, recitations and yarns by or about shearers present them as a tough, humorous and independent group of men. Songs Of Drovers, Shearers And Bullockies captures the verse and songs of this important time in Australia's history.
