Malvezzi composed most of the music of the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th intermedii, and oversaw the composition by several composers of the rest of the music. The 2nd and 3rd intermedii composed by Marenzio. Additional composers include Archilei, Bardi, Caccini, Cavalieri, Marenzio, and Peri.
