They discuss his beginnings as a professional musician and accompanist for dance, his interest in percussion music which subsequently led him to study dance, the influence of Mary Wigman and Hanya Holm, study at Bennington College, his notation system, teaching at Connecticut [actually Colorado] College, his European tours, his association with Murray Louis, teaching at the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine in Angers, France, and his ballet Schema.
