摘要:Part of a series of collections of performances by great Russian ballet stars of the 20th century. This segment presents excerpts of ballets performed 1940-1993. Includes rare early footage of Galina Ulanova, Maya Plisetskaya, Natalia Makarova, Mikhail Baryshnikov, and Yuri Soloviev. Two selections feature the artistry of Ekaterina Maximova, including an extended excerpt from Giselle. Nadezda Gracheva and Andrey Uvarov, two current ballet stars, perform in the Grand pas de deux from The sleeping beauty.
