摘要:This volume consists of a collection of cases prepared by participants in a case-writing workshop organized for Chinese teachers and researchers by the Economic Development Institute of the World Bank. There has been a growing interest in China in the case method of teaching as it has been developed in North American business schools. The case method can be used to study the problems associated with reform and can lead to a better understanding of the costs, benefits, and practical feasibility of alternative reforms. The objective of this workshop was to train users and writers of case studies in all aspects of case development, to establish a local capacity to provide training in the development and use of cases, and to increase the stock of Chinese-language case materials on various aspects of modern Chinese development and reform issues.
