Organization, power and change

Most theories of organisational change subscribe to a view of change as topdown. This book emphasises change as a bottom-up process evolving through the interplay between interest groups. Its analysis is based on an action research project within a hospital. It demonstrates how interests, mobilisation and manipulation of power relations, and conflict regulation emerge as pivotal factors for organisational change.
