摘要:These sixteen essays examine issues surrounding therapeutic relationships and consider their effects on the beliefs, feelings, and actions of therapists. In them, clinicians describe their own reactions and the changes they've experienced as a result of contact with a particular patient. In so doing, they bring light to the subtle working of the therapeutic relationship. The editors' introduction constructs a systematic framework within which to think about the changes the authors recount. Annotation copyrighted by Book News, Inc., Portland, OR.
