- 摘要: The study of speech errors, or ""slips of the tongue,"" is a time-honored methodology which serves as a window to the representation and processing of language and has proven to be the most reliable source of data for building theories of speech production planning. The study of speech errors or "slips of the tongue," is a research window into language production, probably the most reliable source of data for building theories of production phenomena. The field, however, has only focused on adult speech errors since there has never before been a corpus on such errors in children. This is that corpus, the lifelong work of the author. This is the first research "developmental linguistics" volume on how on-line processing operates in children. The book will be a reference for language development researchers. Target audiences will include all those senior undergraduate and graduate students who study language development in linguistics and speech/hearing programs, as well as, developmental psychology.
