摘要:After summarizing the dramatic changes that have taken place in caries prevalence during the 50-year lifespan of ORCA, this publication focuses on current concepts of the control of dental caries. The papers are all written by leading experts in their respective fields and provide an invaluable overview of current thinking in caries research. The main section comprises 19 papers under the headings: 'Defining and diagnosing caries'; 'How to prevent caries?' and 'How to manage caries?', which comprehensively review the basic and clinical sciences of caries control.
