齊柏林因為對攝影的熱愛，於1988年開始擔任商業攝影助理、雜誌攝影師。1990年轉任公職後，開始負責在空中拍攝台灣各項重大工程的興建過程。此後，便長期從空中記錄台灣的地景至今。從事空中攝影超過20年，空中攝影飛行時數近2000小時，累積超過40萬張空拍照片。曾獲2004年第一屆Johnnie Walker「The Keep Walking FUND 夢想資助計畫」大獎；2005年獲奧比斯（ORBIS）基金會邀請擔任「眼科飛行醫院」新疆飛行任務代言人；2010年起擔任空拍台灣電影記錄片計畫主持人；2011年受邀TEDxTaipei演講 「齊柏林──台灣空拍家園」、獲金鐘獎頻道廣告獎；2012年成為Google記錄片「齊柏林：高空捕捉台灣之美」拍攝主角、作品「飛閱台灣國家公園空拍影片」獲美國第46屆休士頓世界影展（46th WorldFest-Houston）金牌獎。著有：《上天下地看家園》《台灣飛覽》《飛閱台灣 Our Land Our Story》《從空中看台灣》等空中攝影專輯、《飛行澎湖》空中攝影多媒體專輯。
