The fast advancement of technology creates a constant raise in the film industry around the world. A constant search for new, cutting-edge methods and techniques for acquiring, creating and transferring knowledge has become paramount for an organisations survival and sustenance. In the Malaysian film industry, the competitive advantage and awareness of the need to acquire new knowledge has become more urgent especially with the availability of advancements in technology and better resources. Knowledge has become the key to technical innovation. It enables and results in the development of new competences, products, services as well as the improvement of organisational work activities. Thus, the importance and meaning of knowledge in this area holds much significance. To enhance our understanding of knowledge management, this project paper focuses specifically on how to create an understanding for the transfer of knowledge through a film project and how this knowledge can be utilized later on.
