• 摘要: 父親死後, 小康變得怕黑, 半夜反鎖房門, 尿急也不敢出來小便, 老覺得父親的鬼魂在屋裡走動一天, 他在臺北車站外的天橋賣手錶, 來了一位隔天就要出國旅遊的湘琪, 看上他手上帶著的一隻舊款手錶, 求他割愛. 湘琪卻不信這一套, 好說歹說, 他才脫下錶給她, 並建議她一下飛機, 就要在地上翻個斛斗, 以驅除霉運. 湘琪走後, 小康莫名的想念起她, 卻對她一無所知, 只知道她去了遙遠的巴黎. 他心血來潮, 在那封閉幽暗, 佈滿死亡氣息又輾轉難眠的房間裡, 撥了通電話問電信局巴黎的時間, 原來台北比巴黎快了七個鐘頭, 於是他逐隻將所賣的手錶指針往後轉, 往後轉, 往後轉.
