- 摘要: "Increasingly the creative industries in Europe are harnessed to manage the social contradictions of globalization. In light of these trends, new modes of collectivity and transnational alliance have formed. This study explores the emergent forms of political theatre that resist both nationalist nostalgia and globalist enthusiasm and rests its focus on intentional relations, development. work, and war. Sieg explores European artists' critical engagement with the images and stories through which politicians and the media describe globalization and determines the impact of changes in these four areas on the democratic institutions and values that emerged in the era of nation states."--BOOK JACKET.
