摘要:Feature-length dramatised documentary takes an intimate look at one of the most celebrated dance/choreographers of the 20th Century, and undisputedly the greatest male dancer of his era. The program is based on Vaslav Nijinsky's own diary, Cahiers, written in 1919 during an extremely traumatic period of his life. Because no film exists of Nijinsky as a dancer, the program utilises photography and re-creates famous ballets and salient moments of his life. It celebrates Nijinsky the dancer, and also explores the mind of a genius on the verge of madness.
