摘要:Nostra signora dei turchi, Bene's first film and based upon his 1965 novel, is a series of fragmented, hallucinatory scenes highly charged with black humor and erotica. In the cathedral town of Otranto, site of an earlier Turkish invasion where the Saracens were slaughtered, a supplicant tries without success to meet Saint Margherita while experiencing apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Hermitage is a short film (24 min.) made the same year.
