- 摘要:
承接二部曲故事, 阿普因獎學金用完而無法繼續學業, 在加爾各答過著艱苦的生活. 某日老同學的到訪, 邀請他一起回到鄉村參觀堂妹阿帕娜的婚禮, 不料新郎確是個瘋子, 竟由阿普頂替! 經過一段時間的相處, 阿普與妻子之間的愛, 情深若海. 後來因妻子需回家待產而離別, 然而相思之情一直深埋阿普心中, 但卻發生妻子難產而離世的噩耗, 一切開枝散葉...
